South Korea's response to the North's latest test-firing a salvo of ballistic missiles couldn't have been much more blunt. Whether the government will take further action is another matter.

President Yoon of South Korea has accused the North of “effectively a territorial invasion” by test-firing a salvo of ballistic missiles, including one that crossed the maritime border between the two countries.

The communist North fired at least 23 missiles of various types, the highest tally for a single day, into seas around the Korean Peninsula. It was the first time a missile had crossed the maritime border between the two countries since the peninsula was divided in 1953.
