I was at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Wash., on Tuesday for the debut of what the tech giant called its biggest leap in years: a new version of its Bing search engine that lets you chat in complete sentences with an AI. Not to be outdone, Google a day earlier announced plans to add a similar AI chat called Bard to its search engine.
