Staying active can be difficult as we age. Priorities change, and injury prevention and recovery from exercise often get harder for aging bodies.

Masters athletes - those who are 35 and older - offer a glimpse into how we can stay fit while aging. The Washington Post spoke to masters athletes who competed in last month's Penn Relays in Philadelphia, the oldest and largest track-and-field competition in the United States.
