  • Pancreatic cancer could soon have a cure, after the discovery of a new molecule. The MM2i62 molecule can target and kill certain cancer cells.
  • A new study has discovered that two of the world’s most common species of reef-building coral are capable of surviving climate change - as long as global warming is kept below 2 degrees.
  • TikTok has launched a music distribution platform, SoundOn, where 100% of the royalties go to the music creators. SoundOn will also be free of charge and the platform will waive transaction fees.
  • Humpback whales are no longer on Australia’s endangered species list. At the height of the commercial whaling industry there were 1,500 humpbacks left, now there are believed to be 40,000.
  • Nature now has legal rights in Panama. The legislation recognizes the natural world as ““unique, indivisible, and self-regulating community of living beings” with its own suite of intrinsic rights.
